In Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, nearly a million Rohingyas have taken refuge. Sanitation is a crucial issue. The Veolia Foundation is working there, with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to install a pilot fecal sludge post-treatment system near the refugee camps.
This collaboration is part of a partnership between this UN agency for migrants and the Veolia Foundation. The two players made a mutual commitment on April 26, 2024, during meetings between players on the humanitarian scene in Geneva.
The IOM (International Organization for Migration) helps migrants all over the world, particularly in the camps created by population movements.
