What with thirty-two projects being supported, an 8th Prize for Student Solidarity, a 10th Prize for Books about the Environment, the COP21 Conference and more, there has been lots of news about the Foundation in 2015. The annual report, issued on April 21th, summarised all of the commitments that were signed in the course of the year. From Ouallam in Niger to Cam Ranh in Vietnam to Bardarash in Iraq, the Foundation has been busy on three of the five continents. In 2016, it will be crossing the Pacific Ocean aboard the schooner Tara, supported once again on the occasion of an expedition devoted to coral reefs.
2015 also was a year when the Foundation succeeded in restoring its online presence. Its website has been entirely refurbished to provide easier research methods into the 1,350 projects the Foundation has supported since 2004. The website now features a presentation of the winners of the Student Solidarity and Books about the Environment Prizes, as well as detailed, illustrated fields of intervention… All of the Veolia Foundation news are there for the taking.
