2nd session for the MOOC on the Sustainable Development Goals

Designed with the support of the Veolia Foundation, the "Sustainable Development Goals" MOOC run by Uved is having a makeover. The Université Virtuelle Environnement & Développement Durable is launching a 2nd session with new videos and updates.

After the 13,000 students in the first session, the “Sustainable Development Goals – together we’ll meet the challenge!” MOOC will be back in September. An opportunity to preview the main findings of the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR). Written by 15 independent scientific experts, the report will show how far we have come in relation to the 17 SDGs adopted by all UN member states in 2015.

The four weeks of the course will also benefit from new reading suggestions, quizzes and reflection exercises: three new videos will be added to the large amount of content available. Award-winning, the SDG MOOC, developed with the support of the Veolia Foundation, has been translated into 5 languages.

Free and open to all, this "Massive Open Online Course" - or "MOOC" - is the result of the mobilization of thirty national and international experts from both the northern and southern hemispheres and from higher educational and research institutions and the non-academic world.

> Registration opens on 23 September…
