Are you leading a project that has similar missions and priorities as those of the Veolia Environnement Foundation?
All the sponsors are current or retired employees of Veolia Environnement. They represent the link between the Foundation and the project leaders.
Assisting the examination of the project
The sponsor is the privileged interlocutor of the project leader. He meets him regularly, checks the relevance of his initiative against the Foundation criteria, assesses its technical and financial feasibility, and accompanies him throughout the completion of the grant application. He commits himself by respecting the "sponsor's charter" and prepares a justified opinion for the Selection Committee.
Monitoring the project to completion...
Once a project has been approved by the Selection Committee, the sponsor hands over the check from the Foundation at an official ceremony. He then remains in contact with the project manager. He monitors the progress of the project alongside the Foundation team and checks that the funds are properly employed.
Once the action is completed, he drafts a report on its implementation and makes a preliminary review for presentation to the Selection Committee.

After performing this role, the sponsor can stay involved in various ways:
- by making his skills or those of his network available to the project leader (management, communication, etc.),
- by creating links between the company and the project leader, for example, by providing training, technical support or market development,
- by actively participating in the life of the association.
